Semi-precious beads are the beads that are made up of pieces of mineral that are obtained naturally. Their commercial value is low as compared to the rare and costly gemstones such as Diamond, Ruby, Emeralds, etc. Semi-precious beads are less rare as compared to a diamond-like Gemstone and that’s why they are considerably low at price. They are used as jewelry ornaments on a general basis. These beads look beautiful and some of them are used as healing crystals. Generally, all of them are made up of natural minerals but there are some exceptions that are not natural minerals. Such exceptions include Jet, Pearl, Coral, Amber which are obtained from fossilized tree resins.
